Dr. Darryl Halbert
As a dental professional for more than 30 years, Dr. Halbert graduated from Clemson University before going on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at The Medical University of South Carolina. With advanced training in dental trauma, dental implants, sleep medicine, and aesthetic dentistry, he has spent thousands of hours giving back to the community by volunteering at the Greenville Free Medical/Dental Clinic and the Children’s Dental Clinic. He also provides free-of-charge dentistry for individuals who are less fortunate and educates school children on the importance of good dental health.
Dr. Abbie Coleman
Joining the Tylan Creek Family Dentistry team in 2018, Dr. Coleman completed her undergraduate degree at Clemson University before studying dentistry at The Medical University of South Carolina. She then went on to complete a two-year general practice residency program through the Dental College of Georgia. She also has advanced training in implant dentistry, conscious sedation, and multidisciplinary, comprehensive dental care. Through her commitment to creating lasting relationships with her patients, she provides tips on how to take better care of their oral health and hygiene.
Dr. Tompkins Ramey
A South Carolina native, Dr. Tompkins Ramey is thrilled to be helping patients in Simpsonville, Greenwood (his hometown), and Powdersville achieve healthy, happy smiles. For him, dentistry is all about people. Whether he’s hearing stories from patients about how they made their way over to Tylan Creek or he’s catching up with our awesome team, he genuinely loves connecting with others. Dr. Tompkins Ramey studied at Clemson University before attending dental school. He chose to pursue his dental doctorate close by at the Medical University of South Carolina. From there, he attended a general practice residency in Columbia at Prisma Health-Richland Hospital. During this time, he completed training in a wide range of topics, including IV sedation, implant dentistry, hospital dentistry, and more.
